I'd love to create a compilation inspired by the Half Life series. Great plot and the inspiration through sound is pretty big. I do like this video idea too. Could attempt to redo the soundtrack to X-Files? People score their favourite scenes?

Wow, this thread is full of great ideas. The X-Files theme is generally pretty good, I mean, if the songs relate to a specific episode/theme we could have a really interesting compilation. Arcanum's idea of playing with the themes of alternative states of consciousness sounds promising, we could have a really trippy mix on our hands

Also, DvckDvck's idea of making music for a film sounds thrilling. Imagine a ten track release, on mp3, and on DVD where we can watch the music come alive. Sounds awesome to me!!!

cyber witch house, that could be interesting, soundtrack for Akira itself is a freaking great piece of work, it'd be nice to hear a witch house take on it.
