Ok here seems to be the rules

Theme: Aliester Crowley - how you interpret this is up to you, insult, glorify, miss the point, do what thou wilt etc etc

Track must be written / composed at 66.6 bpm (this naturally includes subdivisions of this ie 16.65 / 33.3 / 133.2 / 266.4 etc etc)

Musically I suppose we're imagining the whole thing to come out quite witch house-y anyway because of the theme, but you can pretty much do what you want, interpret the theme and use the bpm, the most important thing is handing something in

I didn't see anyone object to the 28th July Release date, so unless there are objections tracks must be sent before that date.

did I miss anything?

Edit: I will take the reigns on mastering this one if I can have the tracks no later than 00:00 on the 26th July 2011 i will have plenty of time to send them over to zin. Unless there are any objections?

A few things.

Who wants to take the lead on album art?
Should we submit WAV files to Zin and he can post in a Bandcamp?

We should probably do a roll call for this to get an idea of number of contributors; in case we need to do a volume 1 and 2. Posting 20+ tracks for one release may be overkill (not sure if there's that much interest here though).

I'm on Pale Noir and have a track coming out on a Phantasma Disques compilation (Twin Peaks).

One good thing about the WH community is that none of the labels (to my knowledge) make artists sign exclusive contracts.

I guess we see what we have before the deadline then if it is a stupid number of tracks split it into volumes.

but yeah someone taking the reigns is a good idea in terms of where we send stuff to.

I'll like to try and get something in, if work, biking and baby commitments don't get in the way.

I'm pretty crap at getting any music recorded, happy just making noises, and am only just experimenting with Witch House 'sound' (I'm not even sure what that means), but will give it a go!
