New album from VC, 4th one for Phantasma Disques. They're getting better and better, I think this is my fav album from this artist. Lots of potential here, sounds very 2011/12, in the best way possible. it's dark, it's bouncy, it's experimental, it's noisy, it's mutant, it's everything I want from a 2020 witch house LP. "Basement" sounds like a crossover of golden days of Zomby with witchhouse, love it. "Behind" is a chiptune-punk onslaught that reminds me a lot of first demo by LA's Crimekillz. I love the diversity of this album, each track is differnet, but they flow naturally in a weird way. The experimentation actually makes me think of Internet GF's stuff mixed with Hype Williams oddballs. With all that being said, I think it would be better without one or two tracks (5150 and Streets could prob easily go IMHO), I always prefer shorter albums anyway. Stamp of approval, I can't wait for another Bandcamp day to actually buy this album.
