In a phrase. This is the product of a year and a bit of stockpiling material. Some of it is going to be recorded properly, and putting the contents of this album out there now is just a way for me of not going back and fiddling endlessly. A lot of it is possibly more witch house influenced than straight up witch house, but hopefully the whole vibe is there. It's all free in any case - shoddy artwork and all. Just putting it out there! Any criticism welcome, be it constructive or just plain "U SUCK".

Reallly liking this. Beginning vocals sound quite Placebo, the instrumentals are really minimalist and kinda lo-fi. The last track is such a brilliant end of album track, like Heffner but gone all post-punk. Really liking this, I hope you get round to mixing/ recording this proper stylee. Only criticism is maybe the tracklisitng could be altered to run more smoothly and as with all singers, be more confident with the vocals! The lyrics are good so sing them strong and make them louder! A lot of love for this x

Thanks a lot! Some of this may be being re recorded, but I've lost the original multitracks to most of them so it may well sound completely different.

Not just bumping an old thread in the hope of more people listening to it but this has been altered to run better as an album, taking off a few tracks that just amounted to filler. New material in the vein of tracks like Tired of Me ( http://soundcloud.com/dan-wreck/tired-of-me-first-go ) and this post-dubstep (eurgh) style (http://soundcloud.com/dan-wreck/half-the-time) is going to be finished soon and I'll put them out when I've picked up some significant interest. There is no such thing as insignificant interest. If this doesn't happen they'll be posted anyway, just so I know I've tried
