Ok, based on the feedback I've been getting for the past few days, I've decided to go with the new theme for our next compilation:
▲ ネオ-魔女 : haunted glitches & witch-house • a tribute to Katsuhiro Ōtomo's AKIRA ▲
cyber witch-house, tribal-highway downtempo, post-apocalyptic ghost drones, future glitchwave are all welcome
You can either make remixes of the anime's soundtrack, or make your own, AKIRA-inspired tracks & tributes.
DEADLINE POSTPONED TO MID-MAY !! The deadline for sending your contributions will be 30th of April. Send them to my email: zinbwoy(AT)gmail.com
PLEASE SEND ONLY .WAV or .FLAC files.

Re: NEW Witch-House.com compilation: tribute to AKIRA
IMO manga > anime, but still both are freaking good.
Re: NEW Witch-House.com compilation: tribute to AKIRA
Sounds good. AKIRA was very influential in my youth. In fact. last year I saw someone come into my job wearing a "Kaneda" jacket. It was surreal. I will def submit something for this.

Re: NEW Witch-House.com compilation: tribute to AKIRA
I remember in 1990 when Akira came to the local art house cinema, but I wasn't allowed to go. Fast forward to high school a couple years later, I rent the video tape. Mind=totally blown. That same year as a present my friend gave me the colorized tpb of the manga. That year I also got big into Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Bauhaus, Ministry, Front 242, Joy Division, Dead Kennedys and then started reading zines, RE/Search books, Mondo 2000, 2600, Industrial Nation...aww what a great time. Hilarious Hollywooh is trying to do some Americanized remake.
