to be honest I think musically it can be whatever people like, I assumed due to people's interests on this forum it would be "dark" anyway, but yeah please hand it in!

Somehow I've done mine. Will someone take the reigns of mastering the whole thing? If no one else wants to do it (wikan, I'm looking in your direction wink wink nudge nudge etc) I will do it but I can't say my skills are as good as perhaps others on this forum

Yeah iv been reading up on this crowley guy and essentially im just gonna make it creepy as fuck. Is there a deadline for submitting the tracks?

28th July is the release date. so before then. when we work out how we'll master it all we can work out the deadline accordingly.

Also, it might be a good idea if we don't post up our tracks here so they can be listened to objectively at the same time as part of a set or something...

PS: For those of you who don't know/care who Crowley is or are otherwise struggling to somehow incorporate him/his work thematically, there's a lot of possibilities. Dramatic readings of key excerpts, musical interpretation of ritual transcripts, even sonification of his portrait...

then you could do anything. mine is related to the crowley mythology but sound wise, a lot of samples came from things connected but not directly related to the man. For example crowley appeared on the cover of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles, there is scope to explore elements of that album. Be creative, get arty, do a dis-track where you call him a fat junkie. It's a theme not necessarily a tribute.

I mean as much as I love witch house, that number just doesn't sit well with me (for one, it looks ugly as shit).

Can't I do 77.7 (yay jokes) or 66.7?

yeah the 66.6 thing is set for this project anyway, the limitation is a blessing really.

That is fine. in fact encouraged, especially with the strict tempo of 66.6
