Really cool. I wish "Wire Migraine" would come out on vinyl though. I did buy the mp3 on bandcamp but I've been waiting for a release on vinyl for a while

the track featured in the video is part of the Solar System album that comes out October 21.
there was actually what looked to be almost every track from the album up on his soundcloud list but have apparently all been deleted now in preparation for the release.
I've been a huge fan of Ʌ ever since I heard the Tundra release Patriot Hills. amazing stuff.

also if you haven't seen it, here is another video for the track Earth:

I've been a huge fan of XVR's projects for a while now (Specially Arc) and I can honestly say his promos for SOLAR SYSTEM are fantastic!

Needless to say I've heard the entire album due to the fact I got an advance copy of it from XVR himself...About the Vinyl release of Wire Migraine, it was supposedly released by AMDISCS but I didn't get a copy of it :(

You should check out the cassette release by Gross Domestic Product, it is the only recorded copy of Braid In The Palm which he performed at the Mishka set. (And incidentally enough one of my favourite tracks)

Best of luck and do spread the word about Arc's music!

Does any one have Wire Migrane in individual tracks? The bandcamp download is one big track.

I just finished going through his whole discography because I was adding it to Discogs: http://www.discogs.com/artist/%CE%9B

And all i gotta say: wow. Seriously, wow. So many different projects, so many different ways to express and play with the sound. Amazing. Can't even decide what's my favourite work of his. Right now I'm listetning to his compilation "Reinforce Your Anatomy" and just can't stop, so many good tracks.

All I can say is WOW. This is the kind of music I enjoy. Really brilliant stuff. This project needs moar promotion. I just bought Wire Migraine and Solar System from Bandcamp. I really like the mixtape approach for Migraine.

Wow hello

I was just told that there had been all kinds of postings talking about my music on this board! (i also had no idea that i could look at directs from bandcamp...)
This is such a huge thing for me, and I appreciate all of your support, those of you who have purchased the album, and those of you that listen and spread the word~~~

I thought that maybe I would make a brief post to accumulate some of my favourite releases as well as catalogue the releases I have done, to equally help spread the word on good artists~

first I will start with my good friends Dreamboat, specifically, their primarily vocalist, L.Lie, her solo project, RABIECAKES is super beautiful and here it is:

http://www.myspace.com/rabiecakes

now there is this band called MEAGER SUNLIGHT which I have a hard time finding out where I can find a proper page of theirs, but they are some of my best friends from around here. they did a last rites in boston with DREAM BOAT and here is a video that even though it is terrible quality, they still sound AMAZING!!! highly recommended

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxVQrYHOzTI

okay so these two are a married couple based out of providence who run a tape label that put out wire migraine last year and also have a project together (and solo projects) here is their cassette QUEER MARRIAGE by HUMANBEAST
http://grossdomesticproduct.wordpress.c ... -marriage/

(in a related note, my tape is back in stock as of the first of this month, here: http://grossdomesticproduct.wordpress.c ... -migraine/

it is hard to believe that almost a year ago, i released that album!)

everything on their label, GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT is worth listening to, and there are tons of free downloads to whet the appetite (or for those who don't have tape players [tsktsk])

MYTHS are a band from Canada that stayed in my studio once during a tour who played a little private show for me~~

http://www.myspace.com/mythsband

really fun, like. really.

and of course, BRADY GUNNELL's project ETERNAL FATHER

http://eternalfather.bandcamp.com/album/oddz

so beautiful~~

now for some maybe "better known" stuff

these are records / songs that have really heavily inspired me

http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Water-White- ... B00417HV5U
BLUE WATER WHITE DEATH (jamie stewart & Jonathan Meiburg)

http://mutant-sounds.blogspot.com/2008/ ... 70usa.html
CALDARA - A MOOG MASS

from 1970, so good, so good. (free download~~~)

http://www.amazon.com/Heaven-Las-Vegas- ... B00000DRAX
COCTEAU TWINS - HEAVEN OR LAS VEGAS
i don't even really need to say anything

okay, so that's all for now
but one more thing:
tomorrow, ABE SADA ( my other project, with the aforementioned BRADY GUNNELL) will be releasing the debut digital LP "THE MOTION OF GILDED MOMENTS" which is a monumental record consisting of almost two hours of recordings. all of the proceeds will go directly to pressing the album on vinyl, which, once you hear it, i think you'll agree it deserves a nice pressing

some tracks can be heard here:

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= ... 5LJf1yHykA

okay well

thank you all, again~~
MUCH LOVE

AARRCC

oh, and i noticed that someone asked why I don't call myself lambda.
here is a the brief:

The idea for the name originated when I could not decide on a project name that seemed genderless, but appropriate for the style of music i do, I had been drawing diagrams for a laser sculpture installation I was doing at the time (here is a photo: http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/2/ ... CF6591.JPG )
i loved the idea of refraction, and imagine that my world exists between two beams of light. it's a little contrived maybe, but it's how i arrived. after some research via wikipedia, i got pretty excited by what the symbol has represented over the years

and that is that

Thanks for the info Λ! Brilliant work. I have been playing and spreading around your video for Neptune. Haunting, really.

Of your recommendations, I really enjoyed HUMANBEAST and will follow-up with them. As for Cocteau Twins, I always preferred the early stuff like Head Over Heels and Treasure. I had all those tapes when I was in highschool, 4AD was amazing. This Mortal Coil, Pixies, Bauhaus. Most people just do not make music like they did back then..

I do not bother with Myspace. I hate that place as much as Facebook. Let us know if you get these new ABE SADA tracks on BandCamp or SoundCloud. I will definitely buy the digital. Cheers!
