This is quite excellent, sitting somewhere between experimental free-improv metal from "
The Hierophant" by Burial Hex and spiritual jazz musings of Angel Bat Dawid on her debut "
The Oracle". Maybe not something I'd buy for my collection, but an interesting discovery nevertheless.

sounds great, i like that avant-garde ritual metal mood. is very middle ages. Also there's some neo-folk martial feel on this. Like ordo rosarius equilibrio i think.

As much as I'd like to claim them as Australian I think they're actually from New Zealand.

Ha, right you are. I saw something about them recording in Melbourne and completely missed that they were from NZ.
Actually I think I heard them first on New Weird Australia (if you're not familair with it, used to be a radio show in Sydney and now is an occasional podcast:
http://newweirdaustralia.com/ ) - so I think the host made that same mistake?
I guess it's often a case of "close enough" though.
