Originally released in February 2019 on a limited to 66 copies CDR, this compilation was given away for free as a bonus with all MSV "Scanners" album orders. Worth noting that the "Remix Submissions" tracks were only available on the CDR version of this project, not digital.
I'm really REALLY surprised that "Karussell Der Puppen (Lestat Darkroom Rework)" didn't make the cut for the final version of the official remixes - it beats most remixes there.
Textbeak and Bestial Mouths delivered, I think their collab works as an opener well BUT the first 2min 30sec could've been trimmed. Blvck Ceiling's flip sounds a meh to me, same with CONCLΔVE. I love them both as artists but here they didn't catch my attention at all. IDIE's track is cool, I mean it sounds like most IDIE compositions, but then again his albums neve bore me lol. Don't really mind Juju's slowed down edit, but also it leaves me with a question mark why it was picked as the official remix. Carl's track takes me back to 2010 with its vibe and execution, I do dislike the dialogue sample he used, but as a composition it sounds like a v old school witchhouse. Burial Hex is my fav offcial remix, 11 minutes of spaced out bliss, so much different from MSV's original.
If I had a chance to remake the official remixes, my tracklist would be:
