DBHB debut album on Disaro, amalgamation of free-improv experimentations, hip-hop beatmaking techniques and art-school DIY wackiness, with a dash of occult themes. It feels like something Hype Williams in collaboration with AIDS-3D would create, but from a self-aware black fine artist's perspective. It's a tough album to get into at first, but once you understand the person behind it, it makes sense and is more enjoyable. (recommended reading -> this interview with Chino).
