Hi all. My latest album is jungle/dnb inspired, but I think it still contains a lot of what you'd like if you dug my earlier, more witch-housey stuff, so I figured I'd post it up in here. Hope you find something in there you dig.

I reviewed the album for my blog: https://mutantzones.blogspot.com/2022/0 ... ghtly.html

After two singles, "Stepping It Lightly Towards The Abyss" has finally landed on my digital doorstep. Consisting of nine tracks, a 27min long megamix and two bonus crambient remixes lifted from both singles that promoted the album, the record is a rollercoaster of emotions, tempos and approaches. At a micro level, it's a mix of dystopian atmospheres, 180BPM jungle beats and brooding bass, occasionally injected with "zone" tracks - four interlude-like compositions that provide a breather from the fast-paced d'n'b extravaganza. However, by taking a step back and looking at the album as a whole, one can't help but notice that there's a feeling of anxiety lingering there, almost like those tracks are a response to the chaos the world is in right now. Maybe that's why the song that appealed to me the most after the first few listens was "Splinters", there's something comforting in the melody hiding behind the drumwork. Really great stuff overall, makes me feel like I'm watching "Uncut Gems" after downing a six-pack of Redbull.
